Chandis holds a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from George Mason University. She brings over 20 years of extensive experience in Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care, Case Management, Continuing Care Retirement Communities, HUD and Senior Living to our team.  Chandis is also a licensed CMC (Care Manager Certified) and a member of the Aging Life Care Association.  

Chandis managed a HUD subsidized Independent Living Community with over 200 residents where she facilitated Medicaid applications, navigating the Social Security Administration, Medicare, Managed Care Insurances and SSI for  her residents. 

Chandis has demonstrated her leadership experience by opening new communities, and successfully transitioning patients/residents to new communities/buildings and she also successfully coordinated an emergency evacuation for a community. 

She has also been a Director of Social Services and Case Management for Skilled Nursing Facilities, as well as an Admissions and Marketing Director for Skilled Nursing communities to include a CCRC in Maryland. 

Chandis is from a military (Air Force) family, born in California, and grew up traveling across the United States and the world. She attended high school overseas at Singapore American School and returned to the U.S to pursue her Bachelors degree in Social Work.

 “I knew at the age of 12 after losing my grandmother on July 4th, that I wanted to work with the older adult population. Their knowledge, experiences, stories and rich history, cannot be found in any textbook.” 

Over the last 20 years, Chandis has continued to grow her knowledge with the Geriatric population and has even remotely helped her own family members navigate the healthcare system and home health services. Her world travels have contributed to her ability to adapt and learn from others.

Chandis spending her spare time with her husband, Evan, their son (Evan), daughter, (Nahla) and their dog, Lucky! 

I have a passion for helping the older adult population live their best lives and guide them through navigating the complicated Healthcare system. It brings me joy to not only connect clients with the appropriate resources, but also with assisting them in preparation of transitioning to an appropriate setting when necessary.”

Chandis’ personal goal for her clients is to ensure that their needs to bring a good quality-of-life are met and the families can be rest assured that their loved one is well taken care of in their aging journey. She is intentional and she makes it her mission to ensure person-centered care is exhibited at all times.
