No. Lighthouse Senior Care Consultants provides care management and care coordination services. We believe it is essential to maintain our focus and dedication solely on advocating for our clients and coordinating their care.
When are your care managers available?
We know that life doesn’t happen just between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. A care manager is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Each client has a Primary Care Manager who is their main point of contact during regular business hours. We as a staff do regular case reviews so that if the Primary Care Manager is not on call or they are unavailable, the on-call care manager can fill in for them.
How do you communicate with your clients?
We communicate with our clients based on their personal preferences, offering a variety of communication methods including in-person visits, phone calls, and emails. Whether you prefer one method or a combination of all, we ensure that communication remains flexible and tailored to your needs. It is extremely important to us that we maintain a constant, open line of communication, so you always feel supported and informed throughout your care journey.
How frequently do you visit your care management clients? Is there a required number of visits per month?
Our visits are tailored to each client’s preferences and circumstances, adapting to their evolving needs. To ensure we are providing the highest level of service and advocacy, we schedule at least one in-person visit every ninety (90) days for our care management clients. This regular contact allows us to stay closely connected and responsive to our clients' changing needs.
Do you have a contract?
Yes, Lighthouse Senior Care Consultants has a service agreement that must be signed prior to starting services. Our services can be terminated at any time with no further obligations.
Do you provide an invoice of the services you are providing?
Yes, Lighthouse Senior Care Consultants invoices for our services on a monthly basis, with each charge listed separately and accompanied by detailed notes explaining what the charge is for. We believe in maintaining transparency with our invoices, ensuring that you have a clear understanding of the services provided and what you are paying for.
Does Medicare or other insurances cover our services?
Most care management services are not covered by private insurance or Medicare/Medicaid. However, in some cases, certain services may be covered by long-term care insurance. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm what specific services may be eligible for coverage under your plan. We're happy to assist you in understanding your options and help guide you through the process where possible.
